Five lengths of stay, arranged so the old town gets the cool hours and the ruins get the cool months.

Before you plan a day

⭐ The museums take a weekday off and do not agree on which, so check the one your day is built around. And in summer, plan the outdoor parts for the morning and the evening — the middle of the day is for the shade of Kaleiçi or somewhere indoors.

One day

Kaleiçi in the morning, down to the old harbor, back up past Hadrian's Gate. Afternoon along the clifftop in Karaalioğlu Park, evening at Hıdırlık Tower for the sunset.

Two days

Day two goes out of town: Perge and Aspendos together, which is a comfortable pair, then back for the beach at the end of the afternoon.

Three days

Add the Düden falls — both of them, upper and lower — and the fluted minaret and Kesik Minare at a slower pace.

Five days

Add Termessos, which needs a morning and good legs, and Kurşunlu for an easy afternoon. Keep one day entirely for the beach.

A week

Add Side, a second museum visit once the sites have given the objects context, the aquarium on the hottest afternoon, and the time to eat properly rather than between things.
