What this site is

Sixteen sights, one page each, and ten sections on how the city actually works — the airport at the end of a hundred-kilometer strip, the beaches and who owns them, the old town, the waterfalls, and what genuinely needs booking.

⭐ The thesis: most people fly to Antalya and never see it. The airport serves a coastline of resorts stretching from Kemer to Alanya, and the coaches turn left or right without going near the city. What they miss is a walled Roman-Ottoman old town on a cliff above its own harbor, with a Seljuk minaret in the middle of it and one of Turkey's great museums a tram ride away.

Antalya, the city — not Antalya, the province

⚠️ This is a guide to the CITY. Side, Aspendos, Perge, Termessos, Alanya and Kemer are all in Antalya province, and several are worth a day, but none of them is Antalya. Where they appear here they appear as day trips, which is what they are.

How it is made

This site is written and maintained with the assistance of AI, edited and fact-checked before publication. That is stated on every page in the footer, not buried here.

Photographs come from Wikimedia Commons and are credited individually on the page each one appears on, with a link to the original file and its licence.

What it will not tell you

⛔ No admission price, opening time or fare appears anywhere on this site. Those change, and the operator is the only source that is right on the day you travel.

It also does not recommend hotels. Antalya has more beds than almost any city in the Mediterranean and the market moves every season; a guide written at a desk cannot help you.
